Fire contained to portion of third floor inside Lakeside Village apartment complex

SAGINAW TOWNSHIP , MI — Audrey Fobear, 80, was watching television when the fire alarms started blaring . She headed for the exit with the rest of her neighbors at Lakeside Village , a three- story apartment complex at 4370 Lakeside Circle . Fobear lives three doors down from where the fire started. "I just saw the door open and flames," she said. "Two people were trying to put them out." Many of her neighbors are disabled, she said, but believed everyone got out without serious injury. She and several friends made it outside about 9:22 p.m. shortly after firefighters arrived and extended a truck boom to fight the fire with water.
