A College Station man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after police say he was arrested on an assault charge and then used his head to bust out a window in a police vehicle. According to College Station police , a woman called around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday and reported she could hear fighting coming from next door. Officers responded to an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Southwest Parkway and found a man with a broken jaw. Police arrested a 24-year-old man. Police say as they were preparing to place the man into a patrol car, an officer tried to remove his necklace, which is a standard policy. A report notes the man became combative and as he thrashed about, he bashed his skull into the passenger window of the patrol vehicle , which created a six-inch hole in the glass. The man is charged with assault family violence and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors. The man is being held in the Brazos County Jail on $7,000 bond.

An investigation into a possible robbery led police to an alleged arranged drug deal that landed one man in the hospital and three in jail.   Milledgeville Police were called to Oconee Regional Medical Center around 7:12 p.m. Tuesday to speak with a recently admitted patient , claiming to have been injured during a basketball game.  “ Hospital staff advised officers of a young male arriving at the hospital at 4:45 p.m., showing signs of a head injury. According to the staff there, the victim told them that he had gotten injured while playing basketball with friends,” said Maj.
