A 24-year-old man is wanted for questioning in the Friday evening shooting of a woman at a Benton City apartment . Christian M. Hernandez has been named as a “person of interest” by the Benton County Sheriff ’s Office. Hernandez, who’s also known as “Lil Criminal” and “Phat Boy,” is believed to be armed and dangerous. He is suspected of shooting Mariah Coronado in the back with a rifle. Coronado, 22, was inside the apartment at Eighth Street and Della Avenue with several other people when she was shot, Sheriff Jerry Hatcher has said. He initially said that investigators weren’t sure if the shooting was accidental or intentional. Coronado was picked up by an acquaintance and driven to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, according to an update from the sheriff’s office. Deputies responded to the hospital after being alerted by medical staff about a gunshot victim. She is still being treated for her injuries. ALTUS, OK (KSWO)- George Butler, 18 of Altus, has been arrested- police believe he is responsible for a shooting on May 30th. Butler was arrested Friday night on a warrant for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. On June 5th, the weapon used in the shooting was recovered from a home on North Julian Street . There was a shooting at Ridgecrest Apartments in Altus the evening of May 30th around 9:00 p.m. Altus Police responded to reports that a man was shot. Two victims arrived at an area hospital by private vehicle a short time later. According to investigators, a man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg in a breezeway of the Union Circle Apartments following a physical altercation between the suspect and victims. A juvenile also received injuries to his hands. The condition of the victims is unknown at this time. Their identities have not been released.
