ARREST MADE IN DAWSON HIT-AND-RUN A person has been taken into custody in connection to a deadly hit-and-run in Dawson. A suspect was arrested around 12 a.m. Friday. Officials have not released the name of the suspect yet. PEPPER SPRAY BANDIT ARRESTED The man accused of using pepper spray in two Moultrie armed robberies in July has been arrested, according to Captain Steve Jones with the Thomas County Sheriff 's Office. Jones said Karon "Turtle" Caldwell was taken into custody just before 10 p.m. on Thursday after warrants were issued for his arrest. Moultrie police said Caldwell went into two different package stores and made a purchase. When the clerk opened the drawer, police say he pepper sprayed the clerk, took the money and ran. WARREN, Ohio - A barrage of bullets outside  Fairview Gardens apartment complex on Duke Street in Warren ended with the death of a young woman Saturday night . Neighbors who live at Fairview said a large group of kids typically play outside, so a large group of children could have also been killed or injured in the gunfire. Resident Sabrina Simmons , who was asleep, dropped to the floor in fear, possibly ripping stitches and injuring herself after recent surgery to remove lung cancer . "I took my evening medicine and wanted to lay down and rest. The next thing I know, we got World War III  out here and there's a child gone now. I don't know who it was, but I said a prayer for that young lady and her family. A police officer helped me kneel down to say a prayer outside the crime-scene tape. What is taking place out here is nonsense," said Simmons. "You can't think it's alright because you can get weapons anytime you want to, so you get mad at somebody...

WARREN, Ohio - Warren police say no suspects are in custody in connection with the death of a female whose body was found near the Fairview Gardens apartment complex . Trumbull dispatchers told 21 News officers responded to a shooting just before 11 pm Saturday night . Police say they found the body of a female in a parking lot off Duke Street. Detectives found a car with its windows blown out and several bullet holes. Several shell casings were found on the ground. An area was blocked off with crime scene tape while authorities investigated. The identity or age of the victim has not been released.
