As early as April 2013, members of the Orem City Council and department heads were informed of preliminary discussions on the development and were asked to sign non-disclosure statements. Updated: Jul 7, 2015 - 8:20 AM UNIVERSITY PLACE , Wash. - West Pierce fire officials say a fire that broke out at a University Place apartment complex displaced 19 people . The fire broke out at the Devonshire Apartments at 27th and Mountain View Drive West Tuesday morning . Officials said all occupants at the complex were accounted for and no one was hurt, but eight adults and 11 children were displaced as a result of the fire.  The Red Cross will offer them assistance. The fire was under control by about 8:20 a.m. "This is Lilly. She is 19 months, say hi," said Darla Smith looking at her baby girl. Smith and three of her kids were huddled in their car Tuesday morning , with nothing but the clothes on their backs after escaping the apartment fire . A 12- unit apartment building in Tacoma near University Place went up in flames Tuesday afternoon , resulting in a partial roof collapse , Tacoma fire officials said. The two-alarm fire at 2602 Westridge Ave. West started at about 4 p.m. and caused damage to all 12 apartments in the building, but no one was believed to be hurt or missing, said Tacoma Fire Department spokesman Joe Meinecke . By 5:45 p.m., the fire had been mostly contained but firefighters were still working to control hot spots . When first responders arrived, they were greeted by flames and smoke coming out of the back side of one building at the Boulders at Puget Sound apartment complex . The fire climbed to the third floor and into the roof and spread laterally, and crews had to be called out of the building as the roof partially collapsed , Meinecke said. A University Place woman was burgled Monday of nearly $2,700 worth of electronics. The woman, 25, got home at 9:51 p.m. in the 2800 block of North 47th Street to find someone had broken in and stolen $2,680 worth of goods, including 32-inch and 22- inch flat screen TVs , two computers and a DVD player, Lincoln Police Department Officer Katie Flood said. Police have no witnesses or suspects.

Oh Tallahassee, how you surprised me with your amazing placing to visit and amazing dining experiences . Home to Florida State University and the capital city of Florida, there’s a lot to be said for this interesting town . The vibe is very small town but with an artsy flare. Seems like everywhere I looked, there was art to be found. Many of the sides of the building there had the most amazing paintings and there was so much to look at. It satisfied the artsy side of me so much to just be a part of this thriving city for a couple days. Not only was the art scene amazing but this town hosts some pretty cool history as well. But I’ll wait to share more about that on further down. 😉 My husband and I enjoyed spending the weekend in this town (we were past due for a trip without our kids) but quickly realized how kid-friendly this town is. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Red Cross is assisting nine families in Arlington, after an apartment complex caught fire Thursday . It happened at the University Place Apartments on University Boulevard North . A source said there was a small fire in the attic. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department quickly extinguished the fire. Even though the fire was not major, the power had to be cut. During the University of Central Arkansas Board of Trustees meeting Aug . 18, President Houston Davis spoke on the white nationalist rally that recently took place in Charlottesville, Virginia. The rally was led by white supremacists and neo-Nazis and ended in the death of one 32-year-old counter protester. Davis said that through media reports and conversations, most in the community know what occurred during the event and as a new resident of Arkansas, was “very heartened” by the strong statement Gov .
