Of all the gleaming high- rise residences anchoring the Streeterville neighborhood, perhaps the new Optima Signature is one of the most artistic. You can't help but notice the striking red glass panels that wrap the lower seven floors of the modern apartment tower or the bright yellow free -form sculpture that stands in the plaza in front of the building. The three- building High Line - hugging rental development at 507 West 28th Street has now unveiled its model apartments as the first group of residents start moving into the building. Developed by Lalezarian Properties, the project comprises of a 35- story tower fronting on Tenth Avenue, and two 13- story towers fronting on West 28th and 29th Streets respectively. Together the buildings have a total of 379 apartments, 75 of which are affordable units. About 95 percent of the market-rate units at the project have already been leased, and of the ones currently on the market, prices range from $2,638 per month for a studio and go up to $8,292 per month for a two-bedroom apartment, according to StreetEasy.
