Recently, the company opened the first phase of its ONE Plan on- campus replacement housing at the Northern Michigan University (NMU). This development, named The Woods in Marquette, MI, has 417 beds in a living-learning community. The property boasts ample amenities , including Internet and Wi-Fi, classrooms, study rooms, TV lounges and laundry facilities. The entire $75.4- million project is, however, slated for final delivery in 2018. The development will include 1,229 beds. EdR is leasing the land from the university, and the project will be funded through EdR's On Campus Equity Plan - The ONE Plan. OREM -- If you think you've been hearing about the University Mall development becoming a major development called University Place for a long time, you're right. As early as April 2013, members of the Orem City Council and department heads were informed of preliminary discussions on the development and were asked to sign non-disclosure statements. Park Square Enterprises  will announce a national fitness center anchor tenant this week that has been the catalyst for a complete re-envisioning of its plans for Park Square Plaza near UCF. When Park Square Homes CEO Suresh Gupta purchased the 12.5-acre site on the 12000 block East Colonial Dr . in 2016, he planned to develop retail  along the highway frontage and pursue rezoning for multifamily use. BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Wednesday is the first day of school for thousands of Binghamton University students . Some will live in dorms on campus or downtown and others will live in the brand new U Club town homes and apartments. The over 230,000 square foot community is located in the Vestal Plaza and holds 140 fully furnished units which house 562 beds. The buildings contain study centers, a fitness center, hot tubs, BBQ pits, a golf simulator and easy transportation to campus. But it's doubtful the sign refers to the nearly three-tenths of a mile of trees that have been cut down and shrubs that have been ripped up along St. Andrews Drive. The landscaping work has increased the visibility of the apartments. It also has raised the ire of Wilmington officials who have slapped the complex's owner with a $200 fine for each tree allegedly removed illegally . With 231 trees cut down, the fine totals $46,200. That's the largest penalty for illegal tree removal levied by the city that anyone interviewed can remember. "It certainly is a significant amount," said City Attorney Tom Pollard . The theft was reported Friday at an apartment complex in the 2500-block on East Johnson Avenue on Friday. The address belongs to the newly- constructed Stadium View Apartments . According to a Jonesboro Police Department incident report , the development manager said 24 televisions had been stolen from 24 separate apartment units in two buildings. All the apartments were unoccupied. The manager told officers that the TVs were installed two weeks ago and he noticed they were missing on Friday. He said the crooks stole Insignia Roku 43- inch Smart TVs . He placed their value at $12,000.
