Updated: Jul 7, 2015 - 8:20 AM UNIVERSITY PLACE , Wash. - West Pierce fire officials say a fire that broke out at a University Place apartment complex displaced 19 people . The fire broke out at the Devonshire Apartments at 27th and Mountain View Drive West Tuesday morning . Officials said all occupants at the complex were accounted for and no one was hurt, but eight adults and 11 children were displaced as a result of the fire.  The Red Cross will offer them assistance. The fire was under control by about 8:20 a.m. "This is Lilly. She is 19 months, say hi," said Darla Smith looking at her baby girl. Smith and three of her kids were huddled in their car Tuesday morning , with nothing but the clothes on their backs after escaping the apartment fire . WHITEHAVEN, Tenn. -- Police said they are looking for whoever shot at a Memphis police squad car Tuesday morning in Whitehaven. No one was hurt, but you may recognize where this crime happened. Memphis Police has responded to dozens of calls at Pepper Tree Apartments over the years. The District Attorney almost declared it a public nuisance more than 5-years ago, but the complex owners promised to make changes. WREG went to Pepper Tree Tuesday afternoon and uncovered even more problems and residents who said they do not feel safe. "If you stay here, get the f*** away from here," tenant Whitney Carpenter said. Carpenter was furious because she said Pepper Tree Apartments told her she and her infant son have three days to get out. They told her she was loitering by standing outside her own apartment. Daniel Morozov , a 9-year-old Santa Maria boy who was reportedly abducted by his father after his mother was shot and killed Monday night , has been found safe, according to the California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Police Department . Konstantin Morozov , 48, who was the primary suspect in the Monday night shooting on North College Drive in Santa Maria that left his ex- wife Natalia Morozova dead , was shot and killed by Los Angeles Police Tuesday night . Los Angeles Police Department officials confirmed Tuesday night that Morozov was shot at 6:45 p.m. by officers in the city of Encino. The Redmond Police Department said the attack happened at about 2 a.m. Tuesday at the Shadowbrook Apartments . A woman in her early 30s was studying in her apartment with her sliding glass door open when a man walked in, turned off the lights in her bedroom, held a knife to her throat and raped her. LAKEWOOD, Wash. (AP) - A convicted sex offender has been charged in connection with breaking into several apartments while naked south of Tacoma. Pierce County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist says Curtis Sell was charged Wednesday with three counts of burglary with sexual motivation in connection with the break-ins and failure to register as a sex offender. Lindquist says police responded to a Lakewood apartment building Aug . 2 where a woman reported that she awoke to a naked man removing the fan from her bedroom window. She told police after she screamed and her boyfriend came in the room, the man ran away.
