Rolling responded with a twangy hymn, apparently self-penned. "He who flung the stars into heavens above, created the oceans, mountains, eagles and doves," he sang. Locally Lost: Cache Creek Regional Park worth drive alone

If you live in Yolo County and haven’t driven up the Capay Valley, shame on you. There’s something about rolling down the window and heading up Highway 16 that really showcases Yolo’s hidden folds. It could be the rolling farmlands, swaying road or perhaps the generous 55 mile-per- hour speed limit . In any case, it evokes a certain fascination. Even more cathartic is the road’s end destination: Cache Creek Regional Park . But first, a note from behind the wheel: I enjoy driving. Road trips bring me excitement that begins with topping up the Jeep’s fluids and ends with editing the final photo of the experience.
