Police: Man breaks patrol car window with headforce | Local News
A College Station man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after police say he was arrested on an assault charge and then used his head to bust out a window in a police vehicle. According to College Station police , a woman called around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday and reported she could hear fighting coming from next door. Officers responded to an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Southwest Parkway and found a man with a broken jaw. Police arrested a 24-year-old man. Police say as they were preparing to place the man into a patrol car, an officer tried to remove his necklace, which is a standard policy. A report notes the man became combative and as he thrashed about, he bashed his skull into the passenger window of the patrol vehicle , which created a six-inch hole in the glass. The man is charged with assault family violence and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors. The man is being held in the Brazos County Jail on $7,000 bond.
