That revelation, plus the fact the street could be closed for up to 12 weeks during stadium construction and renovation of the Prince Charles Hotel , were part of a baseball update and web portal unveiling at the Greater Fayetteville Chamber . City leaders discussed details on the impact of construction downtown and introduced three committees connected to the stadium project. More than 50 people jammed the chamber’s conference room on Maxwell Street. Over the course of about 60 minutes, officials from the chamber, the city and the Houston Astros shared details on how downtown may be altered during and after construction of the $33 million stadium and surrounding private projects . OpenPath Investments, triple bottom-line company with more than a decade of experience creating value for its investors, announced on Wednesday that it has purchased Ventana Palms Apartments , located in west Phoenix, for $8.5 million, kickstarting an effort to bring a socially responsible investing and property management model to the working- class housing complex in the Maryvale neighborhood. OpenPath’s acquisition includes approximately $3.6 million in equity financing from socially conscious investors who support the firm’s Urban Village community concept and its environmentally friendly investment model . The Urban Village concept calls for investments in community-building efforts for apartment residents , including tools, inspiration and ideas to enrich their community life — from community gardens, to educational classes and leadership development.
