Man dies moving furniture at Sunridge Apartments | News

Blacksburg Police responded to a man collapsing after moving in furniture on Friday, August 14.

Blacksburg Rescue and Police units responded to the scene and tried to revive the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.  

Lt. Mike Albert from Blacksburg Police assured that there was no foul play or suspicion involved with the situation.

"It was a medical condition for the subject that was walking out of a building," Albert said.

The man was moved from the scene approximately at 9:30 p.m.
