Michelle E. Labbe, 27, of 30 Seymour Road, Terryville, was charged Aug. 9 with (first offense) operation of a motor vehicle while using a hand-held mobile telephone to engage in a call or while using a mobile electronic device and illegal operation of a motor vehicle under suspension.

Gary A. Barkley, 60, of 98 Morningside Drive, was charged Aug. 9 with second degree breach of peace.

Laquonte G. Taylor, 37, of 502 South St., Apartment A10, awas charged Aug. 9 with possession of a controlled substance or more than a half-ounce of cannabis and violation of probation.

Raquel Hernandez-Pimentel, 45, of Rollison Road, was charged Aug. 9 with misuse of plate.

Louis Angel Vazquez, 23, of 46 Orchard St., was charged Aug. 10 with disorderly conduct and second degree threatening.

Joyce Smith, 45, of 73 Constance Lane, was charged Aug. 10 with third degree assault and second degree breach of peace.

Dennis Strutz, 48, of 73 Constance Lane, was charged Aug. 10 with third degree assault and second degree breach of peace.

Joseph Jonathan Viel, 25, of 38 Crescent Drive, was charged Aug. 10 with sixth degree larceny, third degree burglary, possession of a controlled substance or more than a half-ounce of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christian Bingham Marvin, 24, of 140 Sheffield Lane, was charged Aug. 10 with second degree breach of peace and third degree criminal mischief.

Victor Antonio Hernandez, 24, of 32 Chestnut St., Apartment 2R, was charged Aug. 10 with second degree breach of peace, second degree threatening and second degree strangulation.

Miranda Anderson, 21, of 66 Williams St., was charged on Aug. 11 with traveling unreasonably fast and operating under suspension.

Amaurie Dempsey, 18, of 45 Pleasant Ave., was charged on Aug. 11 with speeding.

Bloober Team’s Observer is here and it’s pretty darn great . Set almost exclusively in an apartment building, the game has you explore the lives of multiple residents living within Kraków slums (AKA The Stacks). These people offer diverse stories , reactions and sometimes secrets, so I thought I’d make a handy guide to each of the occupants to help you find them all and know what you’re in for. Fire ravages Three Oaks apartment building: No injuries reported | News

THREE OAKS – No injuries were reported in an early morning fire that caused the evacuation of a 16-unit, two- story apartment building in Three Oaks on Saturday, Aug. 19. Fire Chief David Flick said the alarm of a structure fired came in at 5:40 a.m. and the middle section of the roof was engulfed in flames when crews arrived at the Hidden Harbor Villas (formerly Oak Tree Apartments ) at 305 W. Locust St. The fire took about three hours to bring under control and wasn’t totally cleared until approximately 2 p.m. Peter Trigg said he came home from work at about 5:40 a.m. and immediately smelled burning plastic and heard popping sounds , went around to the back of the building and noticed that a second-floor unit’s deck was on fire. “I ran in, pulled the fire alarm as quick as I could, ran up the stairs and got my family out,” he said.
