Eden police said a 44-year-old woman and her daughter were stabbed at about 2:30 p.m. at the Brownstone Commons apartment complex on Georgia Avenue.

Officers responding to the scene said they were informed at the scene that the suspect ran from the complex. Investigators said they set up a perimeter in the neighborhood to try to locate him.
