A brand-new Life Care community in the greater Houston area, The Crossings offers a full spectrum of senior living options, from independent and assisted living to memory and skilled nursing care. We are centrally located on the shores of Clear Lake across from the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center and University of Houston Clear Lake, with easy access to shopping centers, recreational sites and medical facilities.

Woodland Creek at The Crossings is sponsored by Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), which has been providing senior housing and services to Texas seniors since 1962. Providing a circle of care in a welcoming place for more than 1,500 seniors a year, every MRC community draws from our rich tradition of service excellence.

Our Woodland Creek apartments are designed for active retirees who want freedom from the hassles of homeownership and are seeking a
welcoming community of friends and neighbors. The Forest is our community for seniors who are relatively independent, but need the added support of assisted living services to tackle life's everyday chores.

All residents at The Crossings may take advantage of our fitness and wellness area, library, business center, chapel, media room, billiards and clubroom, swimming pool, and arts and crafts studio. We offer daily meal service in our formal dining room, with casual options available in our Bistro. A private dining area is also available for entertaining guests.

Available Services

In The Garden, our memory support community for seniors with Alzheimer's disease or other age-related dementias, residents receive Montessori-inspired, person-centered care that focuses on making every day a good day. Our staff, which includes Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and other specialty care providers, are on site 24 hours a day to ensure our residents receive the best health care possible.

For the comfort and convenience of our residents, we take care of housekeeping, linen changing, all facility and grounds maintenance, scheduled transportation and security monitoring. Our full-time Program and Services Director also schedules a robust calendar of daily social events and activities designed to enhance quality of life and encourage new friendships.
