Springdale Police Search for Man in Deadly Shooting


SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- - UPDATE: Springdale Police have determined that the suspect they are searching for in a deadly Monday night shooting was roommates with the victim. 

The two lived together in the Chapel Ridge Apartments in Springdale. 

The victim has been identified as Rwabuzisoni Daniel, a 21-year-old male from Burundi. 

Police are still searching for the suspect, but said a warrant has been issued for Capital Murder.

Springdale Police are searching for a man after a deadly shooting Monday night.

Deputies responded to a call around 8 p.m. at Chapel Ridge Apartments for a report of a shooting.

A dark skinned male between the ages of 18-21 was found dead from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.

After an investigation, officers identified 23-year-old male, Mei Ka Sin as a suspect.  

Springdale Police are searching for him for further questioning.

The motive of the shooting is unknown at this time.

This investigation is ongoing.  We will have more details as they become available.
