If you’ve been curious about the new apartments across from the Malco Razorback movie theatre and Academy Outdoor – now is your chance to check them out and enjoy lots of free food and prizes.

They’ll host a huge open house event on Saturday, Aug. 19 from noon to 4:00 p.m.

Stop in the Leasing Office to pick up your tickets for free food at the food trucks and to hop a tour.

After that, here’s what to expect.

• There are eclipse-viewing glasses for the first 400 people to arrive and swag bags for the first 50 in the door.
• COX has transformed an apartment into a home from the future, with over 60 connected devices including a roaming telepresence, a smart dog, and even a smart crockpot.
• The food trucks will be gathered in the courtyard. Don’t miss Snowdrifts Tropical Ice – ask for the “Uptown Special.” Other highlights include Big Sexy Food’s over-the-top Mozzarella
• Spring Rolls and Bacon Mac Burgers starting at noon. Wrights BBQ and A Spoonful dessert truck arrive on the scene at 2:00 pm, filled with smoky goodness and handmade pies
• Artist Steve Adair will be painting a 440 square foot mural on the north end of the property during the Grand Opening. Stop by and be the first to capture a selfie with the new mural.
• The bartenders from Pink House Alchemy will be up on the rooftop serving palomas and specialty lemonades starting at 2:00 pm, while the duo Lazy Daisy strums away your blues.
• Be sure to sign in to win prizes, including a massage from LaVida Massage and a basket of fresh veggies from Apple Seeds!
