Neighbors react after shots fired at Rivercrest Apartments

Residents of an east Albany apartment complex are scared after bullets flew into their homes. Police said that at least four apartments were hit by bullets Tuesday night. 15 people and many children were in those homes. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Many of the shooting victims contacted WALB , saying they need help. The residents told us they have heard gunshots for several nights, but last night's was by far the worst. A bullet went through one woman's apartment window around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. "We heard gunshots. Then we laid on the floor. A few seconds after that we heard the window shatter. And we just crawled into the kid's room," said a resident who did not want to be identified. The bullets missed her and her two young daughters.
