Daniel Morozov , a 9-year-old Santa Maria boy who was reportedly abducted by his father after his mother was shot and killed Monday night , has been found safe, according to the California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Police Department . A teenager was unable to save her 5-year-old sister from their burning apartment Tuesday night when roaring flames turned the apartment into an inferno, making it impossible to get to the second-floor where the child was watching television, officials said. East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner Dr . "Beau" Clark identified the girl as Treasure Garner, although her family says her last name is Hadley. ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Residents of an east Albany apartment complex are scared after bullets flew into their homes. Police said that at least four apartments were hit by bullets Tuesday night. 15 people and many children were in those homes. Fortunately, no one was hurt.  Many of the shooting victims contacted WALB , saying they need help. The residents told us they have heard gunshots for several nights, but last night's was by far the worst. A bullet went through one woman's apartment window around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. "We heard gunshots. Then we laid on the floor. A few seconds after that we heard the window shatter.  And we just crawled into the kid's room," said a resident who did not want to be identified. The bullets missed her and her two young daughters. In the daylight, police gathered shell casings and evidence. SANTA MARIA — Los Angeles police shot and killed a man suspected in the murder of his estranged wife and the abduction of his 9-year-old son, who was found with his father but was unharmed, authorities said. Konstantin Morozov , 48, and his son Daniel Morozov had been the subjects of a manhunt Tuesday after they disappeared from Santa Barbara County and the boy’s mother was found dead from gunshot wounds, authorities said. Santa Maria police obtained a murder warrant for the father, and an Amber Alert was issued for the pair, police said. Two different vehicles identified in the Amber Alert were found earlier in the day before police from the two cities and FBI agents tracked down the father at a friend’s apartment in the San Fernando Valley on Tuesday night.
