The suspect in a July 30 armed robbery at the Dollar General Store in the Saddlebrook area off Ky. 192 was arrested on Tuesday morning. Dustin Ryan Gregory , 26, of Manchester, was located in an apartment in Manchester by Manchester City Police working in conjunction with the Laurel County Sheriff 's Office. Gregory is charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle, first-degree fleeing or evading police on foot, and receiving stolen property over $10,000. Gregory reportedly entered the store around 7:48 p.m. that Sunday evening and took money from the clerk on duty, then fled the scene in a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier that day. Sheriff's Deputy Travis Napier was in the vicinity when the call of the robbery was sent out by Laurel Dispatch and pursued the suspect vehicle. Bedford man wants to expand on Amber Alerts

It’s been more than a month since 14-year-old Kaytlynn Cargill was found dead in a north Arlington landfill , a day after she was reported missing from the Bedford apartment complex where she lived. Last week, homicidal violence was listed by the Tarrant County medical examiner as the cause of her death, but little else has been revealed. Charles Clark of Bedford, though, has been busy, collecting more than 1, 300 digital signatures on his petition to change the criteria for issuing an Amber Alert. He said that as a longtime Bedford resident with a teenage daughter, the disappearance and death of Cargill hit especially close to home. The decision to not issue an Amber Alert after Kaytlynn disappeared has been widely questioned, but police followed the guidelines. They did not definitively view her disappearance June 19 as unwilling, one of the criteria, though the department did post on Facebook about a missing person. A masked man robbed a pizza delivery man at gunpoint early Friday at a northeast Odessa apartment building and ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police made no arrests in the aggravated robbery of the 26-year-old Domino’s Pizza delivery driver who went to the Brookview Apartments, 3843 Penbrook St., to deliver about $23 worth of pizza when he got held-up, the Odessa Police Department reported . Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call at 1:20 a.m. about an armed robbery and sent officers to Buffalo Wild Wings . Officers spoke to an off- duty OPD officer who was working security at the eatery about what reportedly happened to the victim. Professor aims to change opioid prescribing practices

MOBILE, AL (WKRG) — Mobile Fire-Rescue is asking for the public’s help to identify an arson suspect seen running off into the woods on Tuesday. Mobile Fire investigators released photos of the man accused of setting a fire at Oak Ridge Apartments on Moffett Road Tuesday afternoon .  The suspect was approached for questioning but ran away from investigators and into the woods off Wolf Ridge Road . Witnesses say the suspect then entered a silver sedan and escaped.  The driver of the vehicle could also face charges. The suspect is a black male believed to be in his late teens or early twenties. He is wanted for possible first-degree arson, resisting arrest and failure to obey an officer. SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- A 9-year-old Santa Maria boy who was suspected of being abducted by his father has been found safe, the California Highway Patrol said Tuesday. Around midnight, an Amber Alert was issued in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties . The Santa Maria Police Department said Daniel Morozov was believed to be taken by his father, 48-year-old Konstantin Morozov shortly before 9 p.m. Monday. Police had responded to a fatal shooting in the 200 block of N. College Drive in Santa Maria and found a person dead. As a result of an investigation at that scene, the Amber Alert was issued, according to Santa Maria police . Authorities said that Morozov is a suspect in the death of the 9-year-old's mother. The suspect was last seen driving a blue 2015 Volkswagen Golf hatchback , police said. It was later found abandoned in Santa Maria. Suspect in Altus Ridgecrest Apt shooting that injured 2 identifi - KSWO, Lawton, OK

ALTUS, OK (KSWO)- George Butler, 18 of Altus, has been arrested- police believe he is responsible for a shooting on May 30th. Butler was arrested Friday night on a warrant for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. On June 5th, the weapon used in the shooting was recovered from a home on North Julian Street . There was a shooting at Ridgecrest Apartments in Altus the evening of May 30th around 9:00 p.m. Altus Police responded to reports that a man was shot. Two victims arrived at an area hospital by private vehicle a short time later. According to investigators, a man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg in a breezeway of the Union Circle Apartments following a physical altercation between the suspect and victims. A juvenile also received injuries to his hands. The condition of the victims is unknown at this time. Their identities have not been released. The Redmond Police Department said the attack happened at about 2 a.m. Tuesday at the Shadowbrook Apartments . A woman in her early 30s was studying in her apartment with her sliding glass door open when a man walked in, turned off the lights in her bedroom, held a knife to her throat and raped her. He then ran off, and possibly fled in a vehicle. "We did a K-9 track. It was hot there for a while, and then it went cold, so likely the suspect got in a car and drove away," Redmond police spokesman Jim Bove said. Boston college student with Milwaukee ties found dead

BOSTON — A student at a Boston university with Milwaukee ties who was reported missing early Monday was found passed away in his vehicle, the man's step-mother said. Authorities said they do not suspect foul play in the death of 25-year-old Nicholas Williams, who was last seen Wednesday, Aug. 9. Advertisement Beverly Williams said detectives told her that her step-son likely died of sarcoidosis, the medical condition that took his hearing and later affected his vision. Williams said her step-son didn't have his medication with him when he was reported missing . The missing persons report was filed with the Boston Police Department on Monday after the Suffolk University student failed to appear at his weekend job as an advocacy intern. Jackie Ingram, 22; Nathan Bean, 18; and Derrick Brown, 18, have been charged with first- degree felony murder , the Cleveland Police Department said in a news release Wednesday. They are suspected of being accomplices of Adam Johnson, 18, who was killed Dec. 12 during a home invasion at an apartment on Blackburn Road, the release from spokeswoman Sgt. Evie West said.
