The realty group beat out more than 20 offers to secure the 294-unit complex on Hickory Creek Drive . A local buyer has picked up nearly 300 apartments in Henrico, where two other decades-old rental communities are under contract. McCann Realty Partners beat out nearly two dozen local and out-of-town offers on Hickory Creek, a 294-unit, 32-year-old complex of one- and two-bedroom apartments at 2344 Hickory Creek Drive . The Henrico-based firm, based less than a mile away, purchased the 20-acre property along Tuckernuck Drive, between West Broad Street and Mayland Drive, for $28.55 million. The sale closed June 27 , according to county records. Nearly all residents of the McPherson Park senior housing complex have returned to their residences after a kitchen fire broke out in an apartment Friday night , a Gloucester Housing Authority administrator said Monday. The building’s construction played a role in firefighters being able to confine the blaze to the single unit, said  Fire Chief Eric Smith and Alice Sheridan, assistant executive director of the  housing authority , which owns and manages the six-story building at 31 Prospect St. The man whose apartment was destroyed by the kitchen fire has been relocated to another apartment within the 97-unit building, Sheridan said.  Neither she nor Smith could provide information Monday on the status of a woman who was rescued by firefighters and taken to Addison Gilbert Hospital after she fell inside her fourth- floor apartment while trying to evacuate. SCOTTSDALE, AZ - A Scottsdale man is charged with attempted murder after ramming his car several times into his estranged wife’s car outside of an apartment complex Wednesday night . Police were called to the La Privada at Scottsdale Ranch apartment complex near Mountain View Road and Via Linda around 9 p.m. According to a Scottsdale police spokesperson , Ji Song Lee was involved in an altercation with his wife at the apartment complex . His wife attempted to leave after Lee allegedly became aggressive and threatening. As the woman was driving out of the parking lot, Lee followed the victim in his car and rammed into her’s multiple times , officials said. At one point the woman lost control of her car and crashed into the landscaping. Afterwards, Lee continued to run into her car on the driver’s side.
