POCATELLO — An Idaho State University student is facing multiple felony charges after police say he held a motorist at knifepoint, forcing the motorist to give him a ride. Police said 23-year-old Saud Khalid Almudaiheem , a student from Saudi Arabia who is living in Pocatello, was charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one felony charge of second- degree kidnapping . Around 2 a.m. Sunday, police said they received a call from a motorist claiming that Almudaiheem brandished a black box- cutter style knife and demanded a ride from the Jacksons Food Stores on South Fifth Avenue to an area near the Ridgecrest Apartments on Bartz Way. An investigation into a possible robbery led police to an alleged arranged drug deal that landed one man in the hospital and three in jail.   Milledgeville Police were called to Oconee Regional Medical Center around 7:12 p.m. Tuesday to speak with a recently admitted patient , claiming to have been injured during a basketball game.  “ Hospital staff advised officers of a young male arriving at the hospital at 4:45 p.m., showing signs of a head injury. According to the staff there, the victim told them that he had gotten injured while playing basketball with friends,” said Maj. An apparent overdose victim and narcotics equipment were found at Westchester Square Apartments , 4821 Westchester Drive early Monday , reports said. Police and firefighters administered the opioid- reversal drug naxolone to revive a 38-year-old Youngstown man in a resident’s apartment at 12:10 a.m., the report said. Upon arriving, police said they found the man with a blue face and breathing shallow breaths . Police administered two doses of naloxone and firefighters administered two additional doses, the report said. The man was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after resuscitation, the report said. LAKEWOOD, Wash. (AP) - A convicted sex offender has been charged in connection with breaking into several apartments while naked south of Tacoma. Pierce County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist says Curtis Sell was charged Wednesday with three counts of burglary with sexual motivation in connection with the break-ins and failure to register as a sex offender. Lindquist says police responded to a Lakewood apartment building Aug . 2 where a woman reported that she awoke to a naked man removing the fan from her bedroom window. She told police after she screamed and her boyfriend came in the room, the man ran away. Lindquist says that morning investigators were called to other nearby residences where two other women reported similar stories . The Conway Police Department responded to a shooting at Chapel Ridge Apartments Friday afternoon . The call came in around 2:30 p.m. LaTresha Woodruff, spokesman for the Conway Police Department , said the victim reported he had come to an apartment at the complex to buy some drugs, and in the process of the transaction, the people in the apartment started shooting at him. The victim ran out of the apartment and across the drive to another apartment where he knocked on a door and no one answered. At the second door he knocked on, someone let him in and called 911, Woodruff said. The victim was shot multiple times and was taken to the hospital. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, but he was being transferred to a Little Rock hospital for treatment, Woodruff said. Flint Township police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting that left a 26-year-old man dead. Police were called to the 2900 building of Sunridge Apartment off Flushing Road about 12:15 a.m. for a shooting. The victim Shaman K. Matten was taken to Hurley Medical Center where he died of a gunshot wound. Police are asking anyone with information to call Flint Township police detectives Jim Daly , Sgt. Gene DuBuc or Lt. Bob Battinkoff at (810) 600-3250 or call 911. One neighbor, who didn't want to be identified, said she saw the crime tape and police at the building when she left her apartment Sunday morning . "It's like they're trying to keep it a secret," she said. "That's not fair. I have to live here and deserve to know."

A man was shot and critically wounded Wednesday night as he drove by what authorities called a “known drug house,” police said. The motorist drove to an apartment complex where he sought help. The man was listed in critical condition. Police responded to the shooting call shortly before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 4300 block of Montecito Way at the Meridian Apartments. Officers determined the victim was driving by the house on North Elm Street when an unknown man armed with assault rifle walked out of the residence and opened fire. SCOTTSDALE, AZ - A Scottsdale man is charged with attempted murder after ramming his car several times into his estranged wife’s car outside of an apartment complex Wednesday night . Police were called to the La Privada at Scottsdale Ranch apartment complex near Mountain View Road and Via Linda around 9 p.m. According to a Scottsdale police spokesperson , Ji Song Lee was involved in an altercation with his wife at the apartment complex . His wife attempted to leave after Lee allegedly became aggressive and threatening. At one point the woman lost control of her car and crashed into the landscaping. Afterwards, Lee continued to run into her car on the driver’s side.
