Shane Stevenson, 31, was arraigned Friday in Cheektowaga Town Court on two counts of second-degree murder in the slaying of a woman and her 7-year-old son Thursday. No bail was set. Stevenson pleaded not guilty. He did not say anything else in court. Raina Voll, 30, and her 7-year-old son, Leo Klinger, were found dead at their home in the Kingswood Apartments in Cheektowaga Thursday evening . Police would not say how the two died. Another child, a 2-year old, was found safe behind a nearby church, police said. Police were originally called at 2:45 p.m. Thursday to 2628 Union Road about a report of an abandoned child in a stroller. Through police work, police were able to find out where the 2-year-old lived, about four miles away, said Cheektowaga Assistant Police Chief James J. Speyer Jr. Cheektowaga police went to Kingswood Apartments, a U-shaped complex of two-story dwellings at 1331 French Road, between Borden and Transit roads. CLAY, N.Y. -- A 23-year-old Clay man underwent surgery after he was stabbed multiple times Monday morning at the apartment complex where he lives, state police said. The man, who lives at Kingswood Garden Apartments at 1150 Vine St. in the town of Clay, was stabbed by an "unknown assailant" shortly after 4 a.m. Monday, state police said. After the attack, the man went downstairs and asked a neighbor for help, troopers said. The victim underwent surgery Monday at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, state police said. He is in stable condition Monday evening . State police say they are continuing to investigate the stabbing. Anyone with information about the stabbing can call state police at (315) 455-2826.

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. -- A mother and her young son were found dead in an apartment complex on French Road in Cheektowaga, according to Cheektowaga police . The bodies of Raina Voll, 30, and her son Leo Klinger , 7, were discovered by Cheektowaga police officers around 6 p.m. Thursday. Earlier that day, police found Voll 's other son, a 2-year-old, abandoned in stroller near a church four miles away. Through investigation, police found out that the boy lived in Kingswood Apartments, where the bodies of his mother and his brother were found. Police believe Voll was in a relationship with the man charged in connection with her and her son's death. Shane Stevenson pleaded not guilty to two counts of second-degree murder. He was denied bail and will be in court again next week. Stevenson is not the father of either child, police said. A close call for a driver in Mobile after their car slammed into an apartment. It happened Wednesday afternoon at the Kingswood Apartment Complex on Old Shell Road. It’s near the Brick Pit restaurant close to University Boulevard. The white car hit near the front door off an apartment. The brick facade crumbled after the impact. It appears the brick structure stopped the car from going through the apartment’s living room. No injuries in the crash. Police have not identified the driver at this time. As many as 22 properties have been put on foreclosure listing in August, with a home at Sunshine City in Ma On Shan taking 20 mortgage loans since 1997. According to the Land Registry, the 625-square-foot three- bedroom home listed for foreclosure in Sunshine City was purchased for about HK$4.47 million in 1997. The property owner was reported to have refinanced once each year with banks and private financial institutions . This property is now listed for HK$8.5 million, or HK$13,600 per square foot, according to real- estate company Century 21 .
