Internet speed is worst and many of my friends including myself complaine … d about the same. We need to be in 12 months contract with ATT internet and no other internet options like Xfinity. I am very happy to be in this apartment by renewing the lease for 1 more year but really worried with Att service. Manager Jennifer is so kind and understand all of your concerns. The management (if you can call them that) are horrible! They are so lazy and unprofessional and you have to harass them to get anything done. The office manager comes and go as she pleases. They never give the tenants notices if they are going to leave early or take a day off. The lady in the office seriously locks the door and sleeps all day at her desk. You walk in the back door and see the drool running down her face. Unbelievable! I have lived in a lot of apartments, and the response and accountability of Shadowbrook is by far the worse I have ever encountered. On more than one occasion, we had an emergency work order (due to a massive ceiling leak ) and called both the mgmt and the emergency maintenance line . She listens to concerns of her residents and does her best to help her residents with there issues. I would highly recommend Lakeside Village Apartments if you new to the area and need a clean, safe place to call home. I lived here for a little under 3 years and my experience renting at Lakeside Village was very positive. First of all, Cassondra, the property manager, is awesome. She's extremely friendly, professional, and will go out of her way to help you out if you ask. For example, when I was returning from a deployment overseas and needed a place on very short notice, she was able to work something out for me, and even met me on a Saturday to get me moved in. Let me tell you something as a current resident in Lucky. I have dealt with many property management companies , Forward Management by far being the worst in the city, and I do not see any of these bad things happening here. The staff, and I mean all of them, are accessible, helpful, and friendly. Three years ago I was living in the Woodman's parking lot and I built my businesses up to the point that I can now afford a penthouse at Lucky. I can also afford several lawyers and do have them. If Lucky stepped one foot out of line you bet they would be in court by me or anyone else up here most likely.
